A wee blog and photos I’ve been taking. Nothing serious. Mostly using Ricoh GRiiiX or Fuji XE4 with a few different primes. The GR has been a revelation this year. Still getting to grips with it – missing more often than I would like but loving it more and more.

A photo of G - tricky at the tight end of the bar with 40mm - just enough. Messed around in LR to create a preset for B&W thats somewhat close to the in camera recipe for Trix-400. Photo was taken after a couple of pints (Scotland rugby match) but perhaps could have gone a bit slower that 1/60 with ibis.

Brief muck about with GRiii - not really concentrating too much as blabbing with friends but I liked a couple of shots. Shot well underexposed and brought shadow details up in LR.

Laylas shot - trying the Rokkor 40mm. Would love to own a full frame camera with this lens and avoid the crop. Going to use this a bit more on the XE4 and grab some street shots in B&W. Little bit of cats eye toward the edges but still quite like the bokeh on this.
